Who provides Zentro
Zentro is a product of PrivateLine plc. Website: https://zentroapp.uk. Privacy and support contact: [email protected].
Zentro is intended for users who are at least 13 years old and located in countries where Zentro is officially supported.
Information Zentro uses
Registration and account information may include your name, profile image, country, state, region, Zentro number, account identifiers, session identifiers, device platform, notification tokens, and settings required by the current registration and account system.
If you choose to enable contact-related features, Zentro may also process contact names and phone numbers as described in the Contacts section below.
Zentro may also process support requests, safety reports, account status, app version, basic device/platform information, timestamps, and operational logs needed to provide and protect the service.
Contacts
Access to your device contacts is optional and controlled by your device permissions. Zentro may use contact names and phone numbers locally on your device to display familiar names and support contact-related features.
Information obtained from your device address book is not uploaded to Zentro's servers for contact matching. Device contact names, phone numbers, normalized phone numbers, and hashes derived from device contacts remain on your device.
Zentro-native contacts that you manually create or save inside Zentro are separate from your device address book and may be stored with your Zentro account to provide synchronization and related Zentro features.
You may decline Contacts access and continue using Zentro, although some contact-name features may be limited. You can change or revoke Zentro's Contacts permission through your device settings.
Location
Zentro does not claim to collect GPS location, precise location, or live location. General network information such as IP address or connection metadata may be processed by servers and service providers, but this is not the same as precise GPS location.
Messages, media, and metadata
Message content is stored on Zentro servers to provide messaging, synchronization, delivery, history, abuse review, and service integrity features. Media and attachments may be uploaded and stored so recipients can access them.
Message metadata may include sender, recipient, conversation ID, message ID, timestamps, delivery state, edit history, reaction activity, deletion state, and media indicators. Deleted or edited records may be retained for security, abuse investigation, legal compliance, dispute handling, integrity, or administrative review according to the current backend behavior.
Voice and video calls
Zentro uses call signaling, push notifications, and Agora services to support voice and video calls. Call records may include caller, receiver, call type, call ID, timestamps, call status, missed-call state, and technical delivery details needed for reliability and troubleshooting.
Security and encryption
Zentro protects information in transit using encrypted network connections. The code reviewed for this website revision shows server-side message encryption support using a backend-held key and server-side decryption for delivery. That does not verify that server operators cannot access message content, media, voice calls, or video calls. For that reason, this Privacy Policy does not claim that Zentro is end-to-end encrypted.
Advertising
The reviewed project dependencies did not show an advertising SDK or advertising tracker integrated into the app. Zentro does not currently display advertisements based on the reviewed project state.
Service providers
Zentro may use Apple APNs and PushKit for iPhone notifications and incoming calls, Firebase Cloud Messaging for Android notifications, Agora for real-time voice and video calling, MongoDB or other hosting/storage providers for application data, and app-store services for distribution. These providers may process tokens, signaling details, media, operational metadata, or other information needed for their role.
Supported countries
Zentro should only be accessed from officially supported countries. Registration availability may depend on country. Zentro may restrict or suspend access where service availability, law, regulation, sanctions, or operational requirements prevent use. A governing-law jurisdiction has not yet been confirmed and should be added after legal review.
Account deletion
You can initiate account deletion inside Zentro from Settings, Privacy, Delete Account. After confirmation, account access is revoked, sessions are invalidated, notification tokens are disabled, and profile information may be anonymized.
Certain records may be retained for security, fraud prevention, abuse investigation, legal compliance, disputes, service integrity, and administrative review. Historical messages may not be physically removed if the current backend policy preserves them for those purposes.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to, or restrict certain processing of your information. Contact PrivateLine plc at [email protected] to make a request or ask a privacy question.
